Seudah Shlishit and Yom Yerushalayim
Celebration at YMJC
Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day is the national holiday commemorating
the reunification of Jerusalem
and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in June 1967.
The Chief Rabbinate of Israel declared Jerusalem Day a minor religious
holiday to thank God for victory in the Six-Day War and for answering the
2,000-year-old prayer of "Next Year in Jerusalem"
Join us this Shabbat May 19 at
YMJC (130 Steamboat) for a special Seudah Shlishit in honor of Yom Yerushalayim.
Our youth have prepared a unique program with gourmet food, songs, Shiurim and a special lecture about the History of
the “Six Days War”.
Program will begin with Mincha services at 7:15
pm.

Please help by
signing the petition
Dear Friends. At the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, eleven
members of the Israeli team were murdered. For forty years their families
have asked the International Olympic Committee to observe a minute of
silence, in their memory. Please help by signing the petition: "IOC:
Minute of Silence at the 2012 London Olympics". The goal is to reach
10,000 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition
