New Tool Available for Parents In Our Community

For community parents who want to take an active role in guiding their child in dating & finding a partner, a new online tool is available. MYCDirectory.com is an online database of our community’s youth (ages 20+). Parents can search this database to view our community’s young men & women. A filtering feature on the site helps a user to narrow a search. Parents can access this tool by sending an email request to MYCDirectory@gmail.com with their name and mobile number. You will then receive a password for access to the database. All parental use of the directory is strictly confidential. Thank you to Oliver Etessami and Haleh Benilevi for assembling & maintaining the database. Submitted by Adam Hakimian.

Sponsor for Chesed Opportunity:

We are seeking this month’s sponsor to donate $350 for the MYC-Ronald McDonald House Partnership. A coed group of young adults from our community will volunteer their time to cook a hearty dinner for the visitors and families of the Ronald McDonald house, which is an organization that shelters sick, unprivileged patients at the local North Shore LIJ Hospital who can’t afford to stay in the hospital for their extended treatment. 100% of the donation will go towards the materials and ingredients needed to cook the meal for roughly 90 visitors. If you are interested in sponsoring, please reach out to Kevin Hakimi (516-770-4393)
