Reaffirmation of Our Traditions (Takana) - THIS Shabbat, July 27, 2024 in our Synagogues
As we do every year, there will be a special reading of the 'Takana' and remembering the “Allahdadi Incident” in all our Synagogues on THIS Shabbat, July 27, 2024. This Special Day has become a commemoration of our Mashadi community values and reminds us every year of our traditions (per the UMJCA by laws), heritage, and united stance against intermarriage. Intermarriage poses the greatest threat to the Global Jewish Community, and it is important to always keep this Takana fresh in our minds. Submitted by Ephraim Aminoff.

UMJCA Online Portal
Dear community members. We are proud to announce that the UMJCA has developed an online portal for community members to log in and view their pledges, pay their invoices, and download previous transactions. If interested in taking part in Online Billing and Payments , please forward your Name, Email address and Home address for verification to the following WhatsApp account. Only one Email per household can be used.

We are very happy to introduce Mrs. Karen Koren, the new matchmaker of our community. Karen is a certified life and relationship coach, a Kallah teacher, podcast host, mentor, and
Torah educator for our youth. She has a BA in Communications from Queens College. She currently runs a program for young women that facilitates important discussions and incorporates fun activities to enhance self-esteem, body image, teamwork, and girl empowerment.
